We have both always worked in Paris, in fashion, luxury, leather goods and accessories.

OUR STORY

WE MET IN JANUARY 2017, AT THE HOTEL DU NORD, QUAI DE VALMY, AND THAT’S WHERE A LEATHER AFFAIR, AND NOT A LOVE ONE, STARTED BETWEEN US.

We discovered as parents, freelancers, entrepreneurs, sporty people, frequent travelers, nomads, and fashion lovers, that when looking for the perfect bag, we were not able to find one that combined the style and look that we wanted, with the versatility and quality we expected.

So … we decided to launch our own leather goods brand that we called « Nous & Paname”. NOUS means “Us”. It’s the people we love, the people we care for, the people we work with, our families. And if you want to join in, your family too.

PANAME is an affectionate moniker Parisians use to name the city they love. We are about family, community, and a real Parisian vibe.
So what’s MARO DE FAMILLE?

Maro is Parisian fashion lingo for “Maroquinerie”: leather goods, small and large, for style-lovers of all ages.
We make great leather goods for the family: mom and dad, girls and boys. And for anyone who loves, shares and cares.

WE WANT TO CREATE TOGETHER LEATHER GOODS FOR THE FAMILY, TRANSGENERATIONAL BAGS THAT CAN BE SHARED BEWTEEN MEN AND WOMEN, WOMEN AND KIDS, COLLABORATIVE BAGS, NOT SELFISH AT ALL, THAT CAN FIT IN ALL FAMILY’S BITS AND PIECES, TRUE FAMILY BAGS THAT CAN BE YOUR COMPANIONS ALL DAY, EVERY DAY, AS HANDBAGS, DIAPER BAGS, COMPUTER BAGS, SHOPPING, SPORTS OR WEEKEND BAGS.

Since we wanted our bags to be timeless, the functionalities are discreet, subtely hidden , and don’t mess with the pure design we wanted.
We’ve also looked for a way to make you happy, by offering, in addition to our basics in Italian leather, variations and exclusive editions, and decided to limit the wastage of materials, by using the existing leathers and fabrics left overs at our manufacturer.

And to offer you the most attractive prices, we have decided to put these bags on the market without the usual luxury markup (no intermediary action).
